The excitement and atmosphere aimed to match those of its last edition: <strong>passion, creativity, sustainability, local products, and gastronomic promotion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>This event marked a crucial moment for the industry\u2014a chance to <strong>reconnect, feel the energy, the nerves, and the immense desire to return to normalcy<\/strong>. Weeks of hard work culminated in <strong>over 60 presentations<\/strong>, which could also be followed online from home.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Day One<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The intense journey began with the <strong>opening speech by Ana Redondo Garc\u00eda<\/strong>, Vice President of <strong>Saborea Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>. Her introduction set the stage for the <strong>twenty presentations<\/strong> given by the various destinations representing <strong>Saborea Espa\u00f1a at Madrid Fusi\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Gradually, <strong>Saborea Espa\u00f1a&#8217;s exhibition space filled with eager participants<\/strong>, looking to discover the <strong>destinations and their gastronomic offerings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The <strong>meeting area<\/strong> was quickly bustling with industry professionals and travel agencies from <strong>CEAV<\/strong> (Spanish Confederation of Travel Agencies).<\/li>\n<li>Meanwhile, the <strong>tasting and streaming area<\/strong> was continuously active, allowing visitors to enjoy live presentations while sampling the featured dishes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>One of the <strong>most anticipated moments<\/strong> of the day was the <strong>signing of the strategic collaboration agreement with CEAV<\/strong>, marking a significant milestone in Saborea Espa\u00f1a\u2019s efforts to strengthen its presence in the travel sector.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Day Two<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>second day<\/strong> featured <strong>23 new presentations<\/strong>. This time, <strong>Amelia Rico<\/strong>, Treasurer and <strong>Director of the Cambrils Tourism Board<\/strong>, kicked off the day, with <strong>streaming running non-stop until 8 PM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The themes of the day revolved around <strong>flavor, passion, tradition, innovation, and sustainability<\/strong>, as each speaker highlighted the importance of responsible gastronomy.<\/p>\n<p>As expected, <strong>Euro-Toques brought some of the industry&#8217;s biggest names<\/strong> to the Saborea Espa\u00f1a space:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Andoni Aduriz<\/strong>, President of Euro-Toques and acclaimed chef of <strong>Mugaritz<\/strong>,<\/li>\n<li><strong>Jes\u00fas S\u00e1nchez<\/strong>, Executive Chef of <strong>El Cenador de Am\u00f3s<\/strong> (holder of <strong>three Michelin stars<\/strong>),<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>They <strong>visited all 11 Saborea Espa\u00f1a stands<\/strong>, engaging with local chefs and their culinary creations.<\/p>\n<p>Later, <strong>Reyes Maroto, Spain\u2019s Minister of Tourism<\/strong>, made a special visit, accompanied by <strong>Adolfo Mu\u00f1oz, President of Saborea Espa\u00f1a<\/strong>. She personally greeted each participating destination, showing her support for Spanish gastronomy.<\/p>\n<p>In the afternoon, the <strong>delegation from Cullera<\/strong>, led by <strong>Mayor Jordi Mayor<\/strong>, attended the event. This was a <strong>fantastic opportunity for this new Saborea Espa\u00f1a destination<\/strong> to experience the scale and impact of Madrid Fusi\u00f3n firsthand.<\/p>\n<p>The day concluded with a <strong>visit to Mallorca\u2019s delegation<\/strong>, as the island prepares to officially <strong>join the Saborea Espa\u00f1a network<\/strong> in the coming months.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2><strong>Day Three<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The <strong>final day<\/strong> of Madrid Fusi\u00f3n was just as eventful. The schedule included <strong>21 additional presentations<\/strong> and a <strong>visit from Spain\u2019s Secretary of State for Tourism, Fernando Vald\u00e9s<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the day, <strong>CEAV agencies continued to explore the Saborea Espa\u00f1a space<\/strong>, further strengthening the relationship between <strong>gastronomy and tourism<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As tradition dictates, <strong>the annual group photo<\/strong> was taken, this time respecting <strong>social distancing and safety protocols<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>As the afternoon progressed, the <strong>venue gradually emptied<\/strong>, marking the end of <strong>the first Madrid Fusi\u00f3n after the pandemic<\/strong>\u2014a <strong>Madrid Fusi\u00f3n with face masks, temperature checks at the entrance, and smiles hidden behind protective coverings<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>With <strong>renewed enthusiasm and optimism<\/strong>, Saborea Espa\u00f1a closed this edition with a <strong>sense of accomplishment and hope<\/strong>, eagerly looking forward to the next gathering\u2014a celebration of the <strong>richest country in the world in terms of gastronomy<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After a challenging year, Madrid Fusi\u00f3n once again became the global epicenter of gastronomy.
