Valladolid, April 28, 2022 \u2013<\/strong><\/p>\n

From April 29 to May 2<\/strong>, the capital of the Pisuerga River<\/strong> will host the \u201cPlaza Mayor del Vino\u201d<\/strong>, a gathering spot for the five Designations of Origin (DOs) present in the province of Valladolid<\/strong>: Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Cigales, Toro, and Le\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

A Celebration of Wine and Local Products<\/strong><\/h3>\n

This edition will feature 28 wineries<\/strong>, alongside seven food producers<\/strong>, offering visitors a complete gastronomic experience.<\/p>\n

Attendees can purchase a voucher for five wine tastings<\/strong>, including a branded glass and a glass holder<\/strong>, for ten euros<\/strong>. Each purchase also comes with a small portion of aged cheese<\/strong> to complement the wine tasting.<\/p>\n

Exclusive Wine Tastings<\/strong><\/h3>\n

The event will also include two guided wine tastings<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

  • On Saturday at 6:15 PM<\/strong>, the “Blind Tasting with Rueda”<\/strong> will take place, a sensory tasting experience<\/strong> hosted by blind journalist Jonathan Armengol<\/strong>, showcasing wines from the Rueda DO and Wine Route<\/strong>.<\/li>\n
  • On Sunday<\/strong>, a guided tasting<\/strong> will highlight wines from all five DOs in Valladolid<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Live Music & Entertainment<\/strong><\/h3>\n

    The Plaza Mayor<\/strong> will be animated with live music, entertainment, and performances<\/strong> by different musical groups:<\/p>\n

    • Friday at 8:30 PM<\/strong> \u2013 Cabeza de Gallo<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Saturday at 8:30 PM<\/strong> \u2013 Bloody Mary<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Sunday at 8:30 PM<\/strong> \u2013 Ca\u00f1oneros<\/em><\/li>\n
    • Monday at 1:00 PM<\/strong> \u2013 Se\u00f1orita Pepis<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Wine Tourism Excursions<\/strong><\/h3>\n

      The \u201cValladolid. Plaza Mayor del Vino\u201d<\/strong> program, organized by Foro Debate with sponsorship from the Valladolid City Council<\/strong>, also offers wine tourism excursions<\/strong> to the Ribera del Duero, Rueda, Toro, and Cigales Wine Routes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

      Each excursion includes<\/strong>:<\/p>\n

      • Guided tours<\/strong><\/li>\n
      • Visits to monuments and wineries<\/strong><\/li>\n
