Unprecedented Success at the Saborea España Work Forum in Zaragoza

The Saborea España Work Forum in Zaragoza has concluded with resounding success, marking a milestone in the national and international gastronomic scene. The forum welcomed Zaragoza’s Mayor, Natalia Chueca, who warmly received attendees on February 26, demonstrating her commitment to promoting gastronomy as a cultural and economic driver. On February 27, the work session was led by Blanca Jiménez, President of Saborea España Destinations and Councilor for Tourism, Events, and Branding in Valladolid, whose leadership and experience enriched the discussions and strategic planning.

For the first time in Saborea España’s history, the highest number of participating destinations came together to share best practices, assess past initiatives, and plan future strategies.

The first day focused on a training session about digital communication trends, where participants analyzed 2023’s achievements, highlighting:

✅ Key promotional events, including Madrid Fusión, World Tapas Day, and Taste of Dublin
✅ Strategic collaborations with Turespaña and Spain’s Tourism Offices worldwide
✅ The launch of the “¡Cómo te cuidas!” campaign, aimed at raising awareness about the value of producers, local territories, and culinary talent

The day ended with the introduction of a new project management platform, designed to enhance collaboration and streamline communication among Saborea España members.

A Culinary Showcase in Zaragoza:
As the host city, Zaragoza treated attendees to a special dinner at Teatro Central, where they enjoyed locally sourced delicacies, highlighting the richness of Aragón’s gastronomy.


Day 2: International Strategy & Industry Collaboration

The second day was dedicated to planning international promotional efforts, with a strong focus on:

🌍 Upcoming initiatives in London and the United States
🤝 Collaboration with Hostelería de España, a key partner, to develop experiential gastronomy projects
