Under this name is the Spanish Association of Destinations for the Promotion of Gastronomic Tourism.
It is composed of all the destinations that participate in Saborea España, and they are the ones who give visibility to the shared Saborea España project both within and beyond our borders.
Founded in 1977, HOSTELERÍA DE ESPAÑA is the business organization that represents restaurants, bars, cafés, and pubs in our country.
The hospitality industry comprises more than 300,000 establishments, employs 1.7 million people, and has a turnover of €129.45 billion, contributing 7.2% to Spain’s GDP. Specifically, restaurants, bars, cafés, and pubs employ 1.3 million people and generate €99 billion in revenue, contributing 5.5% to the national GDP.
EURO-TOQUES is an international organization of chefs that brings together more than 3,500 chefs from 18 countries.
It was founded by Pierre Romeyer, Paul Bocuse, Juan Mari Arzak, and Pedro Subijana, among other distinguished chefs, on November 18, 1986, in Brussels, at the request of the then-President of the European Commission, Jacques Delors.
For nearly a century, it has successfully fulfilled its mission to promote the best image of Spain, protect historical and cultural heritage, support the local economy, and care for the environment.
