Zaragoza is meant to be visited, explored, and tasted. What better way to experience it than with Saborea Zaragoza? These gastronomic routes offer an authentic culinary and cultural journey, allowing visitors to enjoy the best of local flavors while discovering the city’s historical charm.

A Journey Through Local Flavors and History

The tour begins at the Tourist Office, guiding participants through a carefully curated route focused on local products. One of the highlights of the tour is the visit to the Torre Nueva Museum inside Casa Montal. Here, participants can indulge in the premium-quality products offered by this historic establishment.

Casa Montal is a fourth-generation family business that has been dedicated to gastronomy and fine food since 1919. Located in Plaza de San Felipe, it provides visitors with the opportunity to sample a selection of gourmet dishes, as well as a collection of wines from Spain’s most prestigious Denominations of Origin.

However, the true heart of the tour remains the Mercado Central de Zaragoza, a historic national monument since 1978 and recognized as a Cultural Heritage Site since 1982. Here, visitors will discover top-quality products offered by Zaragoza’s small businesses. In front of its impressive façade, a specialized guide will unveil the secrets and history of this iconic market.
