Saborea España Boosts Gastronomic Tourism with Distinctive Awards and Professional Training in Seville

As part of the Auténtica fair, Saborea España has awarded the first tourism signage distinctions to 21 Sevillian gastronomic businesses, recognizing their excellence and commitment to promoting culinary tourism.

A Commitment to Strengthening Gastronomic Tourism

The Saborea España Association continues to reinforce its commitment to gastronomic tourism, implementing various initiatives aimed at enhancing Spain’s culinary offerings and improving the visitor experience.

As part of the Tourism Experiences Plan, promoted by the Ministry of Industry and Tourism, Saborea España is developing an ambitious program to highlight the richness of Spanish gastronomy and support the primary sector in key tourism destinations.

Tourism Signage System: A Key Milestone

One of the main initiatives of this plan is the creation of a gastronomic tourism signage system, designed to help visitors easily identify culinary resources in each Saborea España destination.

This system categorizes restaurants, markets, food producers, and gastronomic museums, among others. By improving visibility and accessibility, tourists will be able to explore Spain’s rich culinary scene both before and during their trips, greatly enhancing their overall experience.
